I have my homemade poultry seasoning recipe that I have used at my restaurant.
The reason to make it myself is that I never was too happy with the ones you can buy in the stores.

I have tried several and some did not have enough sage and others had too much in it.
- 1 Bowl
- 1 Whisk
- 2 Tbsp Salt
- 1,5 Tbsp Sage
- 1/2 Tbsp Black pepper
- 1/2 Tbsp Sugar
- 3/4 Tbsp Paprika powder
- 2 Tbsp Onion powder
- Add all ingredients to the bowl
- Whisk well
Just remember that this recipe is made to my taste. Although many people like it you can use this as a starting point and adjust the ingredients to your liking.
I have used this homemade poultry season on chicken and turkey at home on the grill and on the smoker.
In the restaurant kitchen, I also used it to season the dressing for the turkey.
Give it a try and let me know what you think of it.
