Kenyon B70050 Frontier Electric Built In Grill

Rating: 4.8 Reviewed by Eddie.
In this Kenyon B70050 Frontier grill review, you can see that it is electric, stainless steel, and all-season electric built-in grill. I found that this is the built-in version of the Kenyon B70090.

It is merely a personal choice if you like the portable version to take with you or use the built-in version in your outdoor kitchen.
Both versions are technically spoken identically and offer the same great benefits. This review is part of our Kenyon grill reviews.

Grill surface of the Kenyon B70050 grill

To find out if this grill fits your needs you need to know the size of the grill surface of course.

155 square inches is the total available grill surface. The average rule is that you need about 70 square inches per person to cook a full meal including veggies.

This makes it suitable for 2 people in that case. Most of the time we use our grill to cook just our meat and then it provides enough room for several burgers, steaks, chicken, or seafood dishes.

Material of the grate

The grate is double-coated with non-stick material and right underneath the grill surface is the heating element placed in an almost concealed way.

Close to the grill surface means better heat and elimination of the annoying flare-ups

Customer Reviews

“Although a bit pricey and smaller than I had imagined (although it is as advertised in size). This product is perfect for our Lanai in Florida. We replaced a propane unit with this electric as it is safer. It does a very nice job grilling for an electric grill. No flare ups and super easy to clean….

“This unit came installed from Sea Ray Boats we love it. I have cooked all the ussuall items plus pap murphy pizza. Even heat up cookies from Safeway or Costco bakery people think I made the cookies from scratch. Expensive but so worth it. When we move up to a bigger boat this bbq is a must….(read more here: Find more here)”

Pros:

There are not too many cons I found for the Kenyon B70050 grill. The built-in version is great for your outdoor kitchen or to be built into your boat. Cleaning and operating are very easy. The touch screen works very easily and is easy to read.

Summary of what I think about the Kenyon B70050 Frontier electric grill

This grill is basically the built-in version of the Kenyon B70090 Frontier I reviewed. The built-in version makes it not portable like the regular one. This is the choice you make. If you use it outside in an outdoor kitchen it will look great and the same goes for your boat. If you like RV’ing I guess the portable Kenyon B70090 is the better option.

Technically speaking there are no differences between the two and you can use the same accessories for both models. I found one person that called this his built-in electric grill cooktop.

Recommended

I basically make the same recommendation for this Kenyon grill as I did for the Kenyon B70082 Floridian electric grill that was reviewed earlier.

Kenyon double coated non stick griddle

Kenyon B96000 Double Coated Non-Stick Griddle

Made of cast aluminum and double coated with medical-grade nonstick coating for durability.
Great for cooking breakfast in the morning. This griddle is PTFE and BPOA free and can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
A little high in price but this is the first time I see a medical-grade griddle and this is, of course, a griddle that will last a long time.

Spray some oil on the non-stick griddle and it even easier to clean after use.
