One of the first things I decided to do when I started Better Grills in 2014 was to write as many BBQ Grill reviews as I could.
Soon that showed to be an impossible task. I could never write about all the grills that are out there or about all the new grills that come out almost daily.
So, I had to make a choice and write about grills that I either owned myself or that I used at one of my many friends.

Through my restaurant experience, I am used to dealing with and using all types of quality kitchen equipment, and I use my experience in this field to give my personal and professional opinion about the features in the grill reviews I do. Or any other item I review.
I am also active on several forums and FaceBook groups to find more information and share my experience there.
More recently I have been writing and sharing content here almost daily.
Even small things that I find can help you and me to make better use of our grills and cook better meals.
Don’t worry about me sharing only my positive experience, I will also let you know what mistakes I made in the past and still make.
I have no secrets and believe in sharing. Therefore I share all my grill and smoker recipes and the used ingredients and techniques I use.
How I Do My BBQ Grill Reviews
The first thing I do is try to find some star reviews that show me if it is worth my and your time to read more about this particular grill or BBQ.
For that, I spend a lot of time doing research and visiting consumer websites like Amazon, Lowe’s, Home Depot, Walmart, and many more, where I read everything that people wrote about the product.
I visit the manufacturer’s websites to read all about the grills I am reviewing and sign up for their newsletter to stay informed and updated.
I also spend time on product-related forums and Facebook pages to find more real customer experiences to include in the grill reviews is very helpful.
Asking other people about their experience with the product I review gives me some top information I can use.
One thing I do if I am not able to find the answer is to contact the manufacturer by email or phone to find the right answers.
Some companies nowadays offer a chat function on their websites and I make use of this option a lot to save time and get the best possible answers.
For every grill review I do, I try to find it at a local store or anywhere else to have a look at it and take pictures, to see what I can find out about it.
Throughout my career and writing here I have met many people and have gotten information from them that I use here.
This all ends up in a review where I include all my findings, but it will not just contain pros, but also cons and my final recommendation and personal unbiased opinion.
Besides grills and BBQs, I also review meat delivery services that you can find here, and for these, I look at not just the quality of the meat but also at packaging, delivery, and sustainability.
The reason for this is that I believe that even if you can have a great grill but not good quality meat the result would still not be the same.
